So apparantly I need to join bloglovin… so, here I am. Hello blog world…
Not just a dream..
It is hard to believe that in a few short months, we will be living our dream. Six months of sunshine. Six months living by the sea. Six months to quiet the mind, refresh the soul and re-connect to whats important… eachother.
I feel a bit like an expactant first time mother. This little dream is growing within me and whilst I know its happening, I have no real concept of what it will mean to our life. How it will change me. Change us. Change the course of our forever. Like a first pregnancy it feels very surreal – almost not real. It won’t feel ‘real’ until our house is packed and we are in our car… driving up the east coast on our family adventure.
And so began a new journey..
Hello new blog!
Starting a new blog is a little bit like embarking on a new relationship. I have no idea how your pages will be filled or how often I will visit you to share the little morsels of love that make up the life of my family. Will we be together long? Who knows. I hope so. I know that I did leave another to be with you. Our time had to end for there are new beginnings on the horizon and the winds of change are whispering to me and my young little family “Come dance with us… ”
So, a new blog felt fitting. A place to share the next stage of our life. Sometimes just in pictures…snippets of the day to day. Other times the random ramblings of a wife and mother. And sometimes, my deepest thoughts, fears, joys. Always honest and never about gaining followers or making a coin. The minute this blog becomes a chore or an expectation is the minute it becomes useless.
This is a blog about us. Two bigs – Mr Big and Mrs Big and the two smalls… or as the biggest small would like it to be, three bigs and one small. Either way – its about two big kids (of course we don’t tell the smalls that) and two small kids.
